Growing up in the field of forensic handwriting analysis, Treyce Montoya was personally trained and certified by Charles Stahl, the founder of the San Francisco School of Graphology (1960’s) in 1982. After fine-tuning her skills and working on free cases for 5 years, she opened her agency in 1987 at the age of 22. Since then, she has been featured on many radio and television talk shows as well as in the written media and has also helped the writers of the popular CBS show Criminal Minds. She has completed training and casework for many agencies. Her most memorable cases include warning a woman that her husband could brutally murder her – a year later, he did. Another when she stated a sheriff deputy was extremely dangerous – he later shot his girlfriend in the head at close range. Another when she stated a Homicide Investigator should not be trusted with children – he was later convicted of six counts of Child Battery. She also has enjoyed assisting in famous cases such as Michael Jackson, Darlie Routier, and more as well as giving case commentaries to ABC and TruTV (Court TV) regarding cases such as Tammi Peters Smith, Elizabeth Johnson, missing Baby Gabriel and the letter Arizona Governor Jan Brewer gave to President Obama.
Some of Treyce’s background also includes 20 years’ experience working in the traditional behavioral health field. She obtained her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in forensic psychology from Kaplan University and the University of the Rockies, and her Doctorate degree in Holistic (non-medicinal) Psychology from UMH. She is the founder and CEO of Written Escape Clinics International which have been changing the lives of kids, teens and adults around the world for over 27 years. These clinics offer her famous evidence-based cognitive behavioral Handwriting Formation Therapy (HFT) program. In fact, Texas Juvenile Probation Commission has been using this program for many years and it has been proven 100% effective in stopping juvenile crime recidivism rates for over six years consecutively in which none of the juveniles have re-offended. She is the first analyst in world history to create, copyright, and introduce a program like this. You can view the probation video at www.WrittenEscape.com.
